Z & Z and our Guest Makes 3!

While their family is away Z&Z are spending lots of extra time together and becoming even better friends! They play together. (Watch out Zabu!)    Watch out Zinny, he's coming for the feather toy! They nap together. And have bath time together! And ask when their family is coming home together (only a couple more months guys!)

Zin & Zabu enjoy time with their guest but they are still missing their family sooooooooo much! They're trying out new hobbies to distract themselves: Their guest is so impressed by their dedication to their art-- they practice all the time! Zabu has joined a Rolling Stones cover band. And Zinny just got a starring role in the local community kitty opera! Here she is practicing for the final death scene:

Z&Z have been giving their guest all sorts of good advice. Today they were telling her how to keep in shape during the long winter months in Seattle.  Zinny offered up her fitness routine. Tiptoe over the fence... Dash around the Garden... Vault in through the window... Duck behind the curtain... Pause to clean off the claws. Now, repeat 10 times! ... Just thinking about it makes Zabu sleepy. He thinks she should stick with her yoga/ meditation routine. Their guest took both their suggestions into consideration and went running in the Arboretum (look at the pretty trees!)  Though, to be honest, everyone in this house prefers napping!   And eating: their guest has been enjoying the AMAZING tomatoes with salt and pepper at breakfast!

Zin was particularly helpful while her guest was listening to podcasts on the computer while unpacking.  Zabu helps to keep track of the guest's cords by sleeping on them-- that way they won't go anywhere Very thoughtful ;)

This is the blog of two sweet kitties who are hosting a guest in their home this autumn season. They are missing their family very much while they're away in the land of pasta and anchovies (yum!) and they want to share all that's going on in their house while their humans are away. Here's what's happened since they've been gone. There were a few quiet days with the little neighbor Nia, she gave them food and water and pets and was generally awesome as usual, but mostly they had the rule of the house. Their guest arrived yesterday and they showed her around the house. They helped her unpack: Zabu by crawling directly in her car and sitting in the shade under the drivers seat, while Zinny watched from the roof.   They thought shew was a bit stinky so they suggested a shower-- Zinny was subtle about it by giving herself a bath (hint-hint)   Zabu was more direct...
